Anusara Yoga, Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing with Todd Norian & Ann Greene

 

Join Todd and Ann for a spectacular yoga vacation in an intimate retreat center high in the Utah mountains. Cross country skiing is one of the best total-body, non-impact aerobic exercises available. Snowshoeing allows you to explore the quiet beauty of winter in a relaxed, unhurried and leisurely way. Both activities are enhanced by the strengthening and transformational practice of yoga.

Our day begins with guided pranayama (breathing) and meditation to cultivate mindfulness and receptivity to nature. Following breakfast, we will practice Anusara Yoga, a uniquely integrated approach to hatha yoga in which the art of the human spirit powerfully blends with the science of bio-mechanics. The practice ill develop balance, core body strength and weight transfer to enhance our skiing and show shoeing experience.

After lunch, you have the opportunity to enjoy the majesty of winter on cross country skis or snowshoes, or explore the beauty of nature in your own way. Late afternoon, we meet again for a rejuvenating yoga practice. End your day with a special treat - high energy kirtan chanting with Todd and Ann (2 to 3 evenings). Other nights, you can enjoy the sauna and outdoor hot tubs, get a relaxing massage, curl up with a book, or simply share the enriching company of like minded souls.
